The Space for Tortoises and Their People

Hi Everyone, my name is Barbara and I have a 7 year old male sulcata named Chloe, a 7 month old redfoot named Maggie Mae and 4 box turtles (2 males, 1 female, 1 baby). I also have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. I live in Pennsylvania and can't wait for the warm weather to stay. I am obsessed with land turtles and tortoises.

Hi Barbara, I have a cherry head, red foot tortoise (this is the dwarf variety of the red foot from what I am told) and she is adorable. Her name is Rosey. I had a russian tortoise named Pokey, but he passed away last year from an upper respiratory tract infection that didn't respond to treatment :( I also love the turtles and tortoises :) Beth

Hi Everyone, I'm a tortoise breeder from Europe. I breed Testudo Hermanni , Testudo Marginata (the biggest tortoise living in the wild in Europe, Testudo Horsfieldii , Testudo Ibera and Testudo Hercegovinensis). Like I have a passion for tortoise, I "was surfing" on the web about it and I found your website. I'm very surprised that there are also tortoise breeder in USA (because I ve been several time in usa but I ve never seen petshop like in Europe). So, I m curious to know if you breed european tortoise ? Is it legal to breed european toroise in USA ? Is it easy to breed in USA ? Is it easy to find european tortoise in shop ? How much does it cost ? Which food or grass do you give to your tortoise ?
Thanks in advance to satisfy my curiosity.
I hope to hear you !
